Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google aimed at simplifying the process of paying for online purchases.This feature is available with PolarisCMS.com services.
 
A Google merchant Id,Google merchant key are the mandatory things required for configuring the Google checkout feature. The valuable step by step instructions are mentioned below.

Applying for a Google checkout Account:

• To apply for a test account, visit
http://sandbox.google.com/checkout/sell/
• For the live account, please visit http://www.google.com/checkout/

Here are the few steps which you have to follow in order for working of above functionality.
For Sandbox account, you can change Step 1) to log in to sandbox merchant website instead (at
http://sandbox.google.com/checkout/sell/ ).
 
Steps need to set Google Checkout Notification are as follows:

Step 1: Log in with a merchant account at
http://checkout.google.com.
Step 2: Click "Settings" link from the top menu
Step 3: Click "Integration" from the left menu
Step 4: In "API Callback URL" box, enter the Call back URL which is written in Payment Configuration page under Google Checkout section.
Step 5: Select "XML" as Callback method.
Note: Currently, Google Checkout does not work with real-time shipping cost calculation, such as FedEx or UPS.

Once Call Back URL is successfully set then the orders in your PolarisCMS.com Shopping Cart Admin can be viewed However users can always view their orders in Google Checkout website once get logged in: (
http://checkout.google.com).
